Install PCI Bridge Drivers for BE6-2?

I read a recommendation on website to use PCI bridge drivers on MB CDROM (or Intel drivers).

Anyone have an opinion or know the facts here? My BE6-2 seems to be running well without this driver.

no clue about those drivers, but I always keep an eye on Intel's chipset drivers ...
