    Verzion/Bell Atlantic DSL service

    Well I'm starting to get ichy to get myself on the Broadband boat with everyone else. I'm looking at getting DSL from Verzion in my area, but when I goto their web site its telling me that my CO is wired for it but I can't get it. I went to Dslreports.com and they say I'm only about 12000 ft away from the CO and from what I under stand BA/Verzions Limit for DSL is 13000-14000 Ft away. Anyone have any experances with this?

      Look around for other ISPs! Use the ISP search, or the prequal on DSLReports. There may be several DSL providers servicing your area (Covad, Northpoint, Rhythms). I am using Megapath as my ISP with Northpoint as the provider. It's SDSL (which means $), but its the same speed both ways. Speakeasy.net is also another good ISP.
