Ohh yeah, the words "dual-head" and Dual Head are all over the product description for that card on Leadtek's website.

Sadly I have no idea what the legal position is on this, but its got to be shaky at best I'd have thought.

Paddy [MU],suggest you have a quick look at the alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.asus newsgroup for people with problems with the A7V.

it purrrrrrrrs like a silky soft kitten.

Anyone know what the CPU temperature range shoudl be for the T'Bird 1GHz?

With all mu fans turned on it stays at a constant 40'C - If i turn them all off it creaps upto the high 50s. The fans are quite loud though...

I can hear the fan in the garden!
                    It ruins EAX...

I'm hitting a steady 56'C with no fans on.
                    40'C with all on....
Perhaps i should get some sound proofing?
Any ideas on how to cut down the noise.

btw, its not the fans that are noisy, but rather the rush of air...

if things are that bad because of the noise, you can always slow them down(= less air flow, hence less noise) by running them at 7V instead of 12V. requires you plug the fan into the 12V & 5v lines instead of 12V & ground.

Having one fan on sounds pretty much the same as having all the fans on...

Paddy[MU],are you sure the noise you're hearing is not from a noisy psu?
Having only 1 case fan on must surely be quieter than having them all running!

you'll soon not notice the fan noise!

The PSU is noisey, but its the noise of air flowing, not the mechanical turning of the fan.
