Watch start-up screen come on with al data.Press pause/break.Read carrefully.
Afther reading press pause again.
Now hopefully you now.

I know that my computer and my drives are able to run in UDMA33.
But how do I know that Windows use UDMA33?
Or higher if I buy a new drive?

What pepe said is the easiest and most forward way, and works for most HD.
Also , most hard disks manufact. have those utils/progs on their sites, where u can download one for your specific HD.

it may also be wise to check that DMA is actually enabled in device manager!

A fast one: UDMA?

Hi.

Anyone know of a utility/program that tells you what DMA mode you are in? UDMA3, UDMA4? I haven't found any!
