    L1 cache in graphics chip?

    How about putting 'a little' amount of L1 cahce (SRAM) on graphic chip for faster data processing?
    64kB would be sufficient.

              Did Matrox equipped their Gxx chips with L1 SRAM??

                  As far as I know, all the major 3D chip mfrs have included L1 cache on their chips since full DX support.
