    A ridiculous Win-TV error.

I got me a hauppauge WIn-Tv last week and after some initial issues with the default IRQ (5) which caused it to lock windows I moved it to IRQ 9, which seemed to solve the problem.

First question - surely WinMil doesn't care about IRQ's anymore....??

Then at the weekend I tried runnign up ICQ and the TV app at the same time. Hard locked Windows, or at least the video and the keyboard. The sound kept running on the TV app.

I've now moved on to using the integrated messager in Opera, and I still get the problem when I place myself online.

I can see nothing pertaining to the problem on their FAQ and was just wondering if anyone else has ever seen this problem.

    Thanks

    specs: tBird 750@950 on a KT7, G400 MAX, Windows Millenium, Win-TV go.

    G400 on IRQ 12
    wintv on IRQ 9

Now I must repeat 20 times:

"Try all the options before begging for help"

    I think I@ve fixed it. D'oh.

Ah well, let us never speak of this again.
