Someone want to run a quick 2D benchmark for me!

Ok? Now, maximise the window, and drag the frame border left and right. It's very sluggish on my system!

Is this an IE problem, a NVIDIA problem, or just general speed problem with running at 1600x1200 (I see the images in the left frame stretch, but surely that's not too hard for my system!)

Hi Paul,

Goto display properties/effects and uncheck "Show window contents while dragging".


With this unchecked, it's very responsive.

Fine on my G400 here. But I think I know what you mean - at work I have a millennium G200 and if I put it at 1280x1024x32 or higher then dragging any window is very sluggish - drag the window moving the mouse quickly in circles and the window will 'follow' the mouse but slightly delayed...

It's not really sluggish, it's slower though. As one would expect. This is a windows GUI function, and showing the contents while dragging pulls the resources up.

Sluggish on my P!!!/450 w/ Max pushing 1024x768x32. I'll try again in a little bit after I upgrade my CPU to an 850.
