all I can find is that the new bios is described as "P3B-F ACPI BIOS 1008 beta 01"!

I've been using the 1007beta1 for awhile with no problems. From what I understand, all that update "fixed" was proper recognition of PIII 1 GB....which it does. Older version would run fine, but just report it incorrectly.

cking4@ford.com, I think that Dr Mordrid was saying that he uses bios 1006 with his p3 850 & not that he's o/clocked his cpu to 1006!
