hmmmm..... I find it very difficult to believe...

nVidia bought all 3Dfx IP afaik, and also employed about 100 (or was it 150) of the people working there. Not too mention that it takes several years to design / develop a videocard....

I'll believe it if there are some (more than a few) _trustworthy_ site mentioning the same news

I believe nVidia bought all the future 3dfx designs and the Gigipixel tech, but as Rampage was silicon at the time I'm not so sure about that ...

Maybe because the memory for the card is in the AGP slot?

I think the AGP riser is the only way to fit that vice on there
