    I guess we don't have to rush out and buy those non-enabled HD capture cards after all ... at least for a while (was just about to place my order for another). I wonder how long it will be before the Feds enact enforcement of this CP? There's some powerful SIGs pressuring the lawmakers.

                  I wouldn't yipee just yet. Many broadcasters have threatened to drop all HD broadcast if the flag is not implemented. Plus the broadcast lobbyists have already started working in congress to get a broadcast flag LAW...

                          No, it wouldn't. The FCC regulation was not shot down because it violates fair use, but because such a regulation fell far outside the charter of the FCC.
