    New PC / HTPC specs comments?

    This is the PC i'm thinking of building for christmas.

    Enermax Venus CS-10068-B MicroATX Case
    Asus A8N-VM
    http://www.anandtech.com/cpuchipsets...spx?i=2537&p=2 pic halfway down.- use the onboard dvi.
    Athlon64x2 3800
    1gig of memory

    Hope these will be good choices for a small quiet and quick pc. (Not for games though)

      Don't see any analogue TV outputs on the ATX rear bracket... how does it provide these connections?

          You are correct. I was planning on using the DVI output to drive my computer lcd at first , then saving up for a TV that has HDMI / DVI input.

          The mother board which is further down on that Anandtech page has component out instead of the DVI out.
