what version DVD player engine?

For anyone with the new Cinemaster DVD Player that Matrox is distributing with the G400s: Can you tell me what version engine the DVD decoder is running?

To find out, download DVD Region Selector utility (it lets you change lots of settings) here:

According to Help/About, it's version 1.029.5356. Just read the review on the www.kesher-computers site -- hadn't realized it's the same engine as ATI uses.

Afraid I haven't got a DVD drive in the computer I installed the G400 in, so I don't yet know how the DVD player compares.

Hmm, that's a different version than what's floating around on web sites.

From those web sites these are the versions that are out there (for cards other than G400):

1.0.29.5291
1.0.32.5653
