"Like we said in the beginning of our review, Matrox really surprised us with the G400 MAX. It has features to die for and performance that puts it right up there with the fastest cards on the market. While it's unfortunate that OpenGL performance isn't all that great as we go to press, this card does so much else right that it's very hard not to recommend it as one of the best video cards of the year."
