    G400 32 and RR G-Series

    Has anybody got this working? There are no headers for the second connectivity cable and I cannot find any reference materials that address the physical installation. Any advice is appreciated.

      My first guess is that you got a singlehead OEM model.

      These do not support RR-G.

      Only Dualhead (OEM and Retail) models work with RR-G.

          No, that's not the case. This is a 32MB dual-headed model directly from Matrox, as I type this text on my P813 and look over at my P815.

              Hmmm....
              It should have all of the connectors then....

              Does it look like this (all the same connectors)?



              This is a 16 meg, but it has all the same connectors as my 32meg Dualhead...I don't have a RR-G, but my understanding is that this card has all of the connectors needed...

                  I just ordered my RR+G, but if someone with the G400 and NT can check to see if the beta NT tools will work with it.....

                      Yep. That's how she looks alright. The rightmost connector fits, but the leftmost doesn't.

                          Doh. As I remove a size 10 from my pearly-whites... All is well. I had a brain fart. Thanks again for your help. All is well in RR-Land, though the DVDMax feature seems to not work (using the RR with DVD module).

                              Why aplogize? Now we have a huge picture the video card that Tylau knows he wants. Also look at the end of the card, it has a MURC stamped on there.....they are paying their respects...hehehe. Maybe Mannoroi Maserati can print it out and pretend like he has has one. I know that is what I am gonna have to do until I get mine.

                                  about time i change this, i spend about 4 hours a day reading the posts on this site and get paid to do it ,now isin't that a great job? oh you want pain how about this halflife works on the nt machine at work but as soon as you patch it to the latest version it dies a horible winblows nt4 death of dll errors.
