I was tired of being strung along by Matrox via retailers ETA's (placed with PCSTOP on June 10).
The G400s may be the best cards out now, but they are not really out.
I have been racing out to buy the latest in 3D graphics cards since the days of the Virge and Voodoo1. The G400 delays are unprecedented to me. I got a Diamond Viper 770 within a few days from the only release date I was aware of.
The NV10 will be faster then the G400 and the 2D image quality of the nVidia based cards I have now is acceptable. I will wait for it or what ever else comes along. I've been called a hardware slut, putting out for any new technology that comes out.
