Damn you're right! The fan connector, solder points and possibly the RAM I can't see clearily

Could all those failed MAX cards be the evidence of the production problems Matrox are talking about? (I belive this is a rumor, I can't back it up)

Nah, I reckon that they have many more normal G400s on back order than MAXes, and so are fulfilling the demand for them, and for their OEM customers by shipping loads of un-maxed MAXes as normal.

I like the prices that he has 160.oo for a retail model. On the vendor page NO ONE has one ! I am still looking for a retail version
at that price level and have not had luck finding a vendor except the "list" price at Matrox online. These cards are scarce...
