G400 Problems

hey!
i'm a regular from the Sharky boards, but i figured this is the place to come for troubles with my G400. it is a oem dualhead edition. my problem is, is that in most OpenGL games, the games won't work, or will crash a lot. it looks like driver problems, but i've reinstalled the drivers many times. is it possible i have drivers left over from my ATI card? where would those be located? Please Help

If you have an AGP aperture setting in your BIOS, set it to 256. If this doesn't help, use the Matrox uninstaller to uninstall your video drivers, then install the latest drivers for your G400 (PD 5.13 for Win 9X). Also make sure there are no IRQ conflicts in Device Manager. And what OS are you running?

yes, i have. i downloaded the most recent drivers and it works a bit better, but i can't play Q3 at all.

I found out the prob. I had something wrong with my mobo. My new P3B-F is working just fine I must some decent memory. I o/c'ed my G400 to 150/200. Woooooooo!
