My G400 MAX Doesn't Overclock Well

Even at 220mhz for the RAM I get stray pixels that shouldn't be the color they are every once in a while.

I'm going to keep the card at 200 (default) for a couple of days to see if it the problem persists

My G400 Max doesn't even seem to work properly at it's rated speed, I'm having my system hang playing games or even just in windows. Didn't happen until the temperature went up a little in my case, but as soon as I opened it up and put a fan on the card the hanging went away. Luckily the store I bought it from will exchange it for me tomorrow

Have you considered keeping the MAX and buying a new case and cooling fans?

http://www.pccanada.com is where I got mine. As for my card being unstable, it seems to be my system, the replacement does the same. BH6 + G400 max & intermittant hangs anyone?
