    What can we expect from the new G400 Drivers???

    Hi!

    Today we will get the new G400 Drivers. So what can we expect? How much speed increase?

    Better openGL performance?

    At the moement I don't find much of a performance increase between my new G400 Max and my previous G400 16megs DH in 3DMark when running at 800 by 600.

    May be at higher resolutions, the G400 Max will be faster.

      I was just gonna ask the same but isn't the upcoming PD5.20 for all G-series adapters instead of just G400?

          Yes, they are for all G series cards.

          I hear they are supposed to clean your monitor of all of the fingerprints on the tube, and leave your dishes in your dishwasher spot-free!

              So this is what Matrox has been cooking up lately.

              He he!

              So when will the drivers release? Will there also be a bios update?

              I am hearing many people are have lots of lockups and crashes when playing games.

                  I hope 5.20 fixes the dancing desktop icons problem during startup. Annoying as heck.

                                          Hmmm, so yesterday I fought to get the (darn) G400 working (with 3 reformats and reinstalls of Win98) and so sometime today or tomorrow I can start over again??

                                          Ah well, as long as both TS and SiN will work then, then I won't mind reformatting again...
