I think the server is slow because there are 500 forum members all trying to download at the same time. I'm getting 2.85 KB/S right now on a T1. D'Oh!

Well.. Great job, Matrox! (NOT)

My Quake2 demo1 went from 30 to 20fps on my K6-2 333, XTom3D (cool 3D shooter) still has the same dirty alpha-blending bugs and got slower, the icons on my desktop are all located on the left-upper corner...

I expect 5.22 is coming soon.. REAL soon this time. :-(

A decrease in speed with the new drivers must mean that you didnt correctly install the new drivers..Did you remove the previous drivers with the Matrox unInstaller..?

Is is switched to agp 1x now or what?

Question Jacco... How far have you OC'ed your Athlon by now?? The 500 can get to way over 750 MHz... Maybe you did right in buying the *slow* and *cheap* Athlon...

Jorden, PIII-450 user and not leaving this rig... My future wife may get a good Athlon rig

Well, I gonna try the uninstaller, and the re-install theose 5.21 drivers... If I can get to Matrox' site somehow. Seems to be overwhelmed now.

Anyway, I'm not expecting much improvement from that action.

Just so that Randy doesn't feel all alone. I used the uninistaller from Matrox and unistalled the drivers correctly. My Q3 framerates were almost cut in half with the new drivers! 23.4 down to 14.4 at 1024x768 with all the options on. I think something weird is going on.
