G400 AGP 2x or 1x? Huh? Where?

FAQ says I should whack down AGP to 1x to sort some problems if I overclock. I typically play games non-overclocked on a vanilla Win98 install, but would like to see if I can get PIII450 to 560 with the matrox and stable in all games.

So where do I set 2x/1x for AGP, in the mobo? or elsewhere (ABIT BE6 incidentally)

Changes need to be made in the Registry. Download Registry tweaks at:

Use ForceAPG1x.reg or ForceAGP2x

Thanks, works (or rather, didnt help with lockups!), but I did find some crap in my registry from my previous ATI card ....
