Guess what? The G400 defaults to standard clock speed after your computer goes on standby! Took me forever to figure this one out...

Why have standby on at all? Kill it. Notorious for tons of other problems anyway. (check out MS bugfiles aka knowledge base) Power management is for laptops, not gaming machines
