G400 + ASUS P5A

Hi !

I`ve a bit problem with a G400 on a ASUS P5A
(just Windows 95/98 and Windows NT , linux running very well)
.. If windows boots I get the background image and then nothing ... sometimes there comes the login screen (for network), too .. but then you can't use it ....

Does anybody knows this error ?
And how to solve this problem ?

Do you have the latest <a href="ftp://ftp.asuscom.de/pub/ASUSCOM/BIOS/Socket_7/ALI_Chipset/ALI_V/P5A/1007a.zip">1007A BIOS</a> for P5A? How about the drivers from www.ali.com.tw?
