Good config settings for g400 in q2, q3 and HL? Link? :)

Ok, I'm just about done 'playing' on my new max, and want to get *playing* good.

Anyone know of, or has a good list of nice autoexec settings for q2, q3 and HL? Mainly graphic tweaks, ones that help image quality and speed without much fuss. I recall seeing some settings for HL and q3 that make a world of difference for little or no cost. One is something about isa sound cards and s_mixahead, and another is some q3 texture setting that enables or disables multitexturing or something...anyway it really helps, I at least know that. I'm sure theres tons more as well.

Post here if you like, but if theres a 'tweak settings site' for g400, that link would be much better. (a la 3 fingers old page for voodoo2 tweaks, if any of you remember that

      Ahhh....config maker...You seek config maker...

      http://www.tweak3d.net/autoexec/

Or, if you want my q2 scripts...

For HL, I just use few entries in my autoexec.cfg, rather that all the scripts I used in Q2...I posted them in this thread last week...

Oh yea...and if you look down the list, yesterday I posted a link to little blurb from Carmack, in which he says Q3 has no multi-texturing at this point

Uhh Kruzin, I think Carmack said that the GLX driver isn't supporting multitexture yet, not Q3.

Yeah, as far as I read into his post it only matters to Linux right now Windows driver already has multitexture. Otherwise gl_texsort or r_texsort wouldn't do crap

Thx for links. I found some on my own too...but that tweak3d thing is not very good IMHO. Takes too long, generated odd settings. Set up for a newbie sort of, but I disagree with some of their choices.
