I have already downloaded and installed it and accord to dxdiag this is the final version 4.07.00.0700. I have had no problems so far.

Yeah, somebody else posted the addy the other day, I downloaded it too. They had said it was a beta but mine is reported as "retail", version 4.07.700 by dxdiag as well. No problems whatsoever.

It is the final international release.
Sound has been greatly improved in respect to speed of processing , but then they didnt
update the sound bits in dx6 did they!!!

We will see how 'final' all these dx7 leaks really are in a bit. Just because it works and has no problems for some people doesn't mean crap. Fun to play with though
Of course even the 'final final for REAL final' doesn't work well for everyone, LOL M$!
