Well it seem to me that the Upgrade game is one that never ends....If Matrox can take advantage of instructions in a high end processor then go for it! If YOU don't own one...TOO stinkin BAD! For all those who are NOT happy then (dare I say it...), go and d/l Creative Labs stand alone 'minigl' drivers for their voodoo2 line of products.
Not sure if it works on everyones system (maybe you have to have CL V2 drivers preinstalled? dunno) but you can read my post to Kruzin at :http://forums.murc.ws/ubb/Forum4/HTML/001189.html

I used to have minigl drivers with my VooDoo II SLI rig. Man, those were the days when those were the days.
