G400 DVD decoder region areas

Was wandering if anybody out there managed to hack the software decoder counter for the number of changes in region area.
I found the registry key where the software keeps both the area and the number of changes but resetting those doesn't fool the software. Any ideas?

MatroxDVD is based on the cinemaster engine

Go to http://www.dvdutils.com/ and download the DVD Region Selector and use this to set the Region, as many times as you want, as well as allowing you to change other options for the player.

FYI The Matrox DVD player is a rebadged Cinemaster Player, so use this tab on the region selector.
