    G400 and Athlon system compatibility

I am considering upgrading to an athlon system and I currently own a G400max. The vast majority of posts about video problems with the G400 seem to involve ABIT mobo's, but I would like to know if any Athlon owners are having similar problems with their G400 cards or other peripherals. Thanks.

Unless he popped the secc case (aka iron tank intel-deisgned easy-bake-oven) and had fun with a soldering iron, *he didn't*.

ONLY the asus k7m board has fsb settings AT ALL to play with, and its brand new/unavailable (like yesterday) and didn't work stable at all past 110mhz mem fsb. I think when the mem fsb goes up to a nonstandard, the cpu fsb might too (200mhz, which is already high) and the amd75x can't handle it.

Hey, Kenny and other guys, I have Athlon 500, MSA MS-6167, and Matrox g400 DH 32
Basically it works fine, only problem is, after i update drivers, i need to force agp 1x cause mouse becomes a block, and screen goes wild, pixel change color, etc.
Athlon ROCKs, but frankly i don't c any difference but difference in benchmarks )
