    AGPx2??????..........Matrox or Motherboard???

Ive been reading about the mechanical issue of the AGP slot being problematic, that however is not my problem (sure of it!!), I can only get AGPx1!! with my AbitBP6 and MatroxMax, what I want to know is, is the problem the Motherboard or the Card???

No matter what I tried, I could only get AGP x1 with the 5.25 drivers. However, with the 5.30 drivers, the problem instantly disappeared and now I get AGP x2. The much improved framerates in 3DMark99 Max also prove this.

The 5.30 drivers also appears to have fixed the incompatibility I had with AGPx2.
Now I can run AGPx2, with a better frame rate in 3D. But when higher than 1024x768, the system locks.
