    DVDMax troubles

With DVDMax, my tv shows multiple copies
of the movie, stacked on top of the other,
any ideas how to get around this?

    Thanks

I suppose you don't use the supplied MatroxDVD player?

If you use cinemaster 98 you'll have to switch the grphics mode to flip (tnt).
Don't use Overlay(Matrox) as this produces these 3 stacked pictures.

With the Cinemaster99 player this doesn't seem to work.

      HI,

I had a few problems with the DVDMAX output to the T.V, Green screens and 3 stacked one above the other, this is how I solved it.

I found DVD region selector 1.96 from www.dvdutils.com. Click on the Ati/Cinemaster tab, then select the ‘more’ tab for extra options, in here go to the ‘surface flip mode’ pull down window. I changed mine to DDFLIP -Even interleaved. It immediately solved the problem. I could repeat the problem by setting it back again, so this must be the answer.

I tried that, but it didn't help.. So i fooled around in the matrox dualhead settings and found preserve source cropping.. it was unchecked.. so I checked it and voila!
        Cool... and it's beautiful

          Thanks for all the help.

The DVDRegion Selector hint worked, but
the playback quality declined, with annoying jitter on the tv-output.

Best result was with preserving source cropping on the dvdmax options section
