      one more thing, go into safe mode and see if there are any other video cards or monitors under device manager

        try upping the voltage slightly, if you can get it to work, the card may be more stable @ 100fsb with 2/3 agp

          my system ran perfect one week ago.. then i installed teh new drivers and ---> crash
          and now it crashes always!!

                I had same windows crash problems. totally dif system but as soon as i got the newest 4 in 1 update for my motherboard it worked fine.
                D3D games that use busmastering still eat shit. but im working on that prob
                Windows runs nice.
                Im getting a new motherboard soon so i think im just going to let it be

                          agp is very touchy with fsb, have you tried running at 75fsb?

                              heh and the abit + g400 max problems live on. I thought everyone by now just thought that abit owners don't know how to plug their video card in..
                              I still havn't fixed my problem, no matter how much fiddling around with my card seating I do. I'm now waiting for Matrox to get more MAX's in stock so I can get my replacement.
