Overclocking Utility

What are the chances of Matrox integrating their optimizing/overclocking utility into the next driver release?
For instance, creating an extra tab in the Display Properties box.
Seems like a bunch of people are happier using other utilities. Would the integration affect the other utilities?

No chance. The utility is unsupported ("use at your own risk"), and as such is not allowed to integrate with Microsoft-blessed stuff.

ok, Thanks. Just checked out a few sites from a couple of card manufacturers of the tnt2 ultra and they have the o/c utility included in their driver release. Any idea how they administered that one?

Either they don't ever want to have MS-Certified drivers, or any next new drivers won't have the utility included nomore

What it is, is, that Matrox make all their drivers perfectly MS-compatible, so that every now and then they will release an MS-certified one that all the OEMs and first time users will go and use, because they're 'safe' or something. Nvidia's drivers use a different strategy - every now and then, they will release a driver which will go in for MS-certification, but all their drivers in between will not have a chance at being certified, but they don't care.
I prefer Matrox' method of things, as in theory their drivers should be more stable.
