    Dualhead and taskbar....

Is it possible to enable the taskbar on the second screen....
it is stupid to move your mouse back to your primary screen to switch windows on second screen...
is there a possibility of a second taskbar on the second screen that only shows the tasks (windows) that are running on the second screen???

That's not quite what he meant - he wants two taskbars - one showing what's running on the 1st screen, the other showing what's running on the 2nd.

It would be nice, wouldn't it? But I guess it's a microsoft thing.

Hmm... Sounds like an interesting program. I enjoy writing useful little utilities, and having come across some useful API calls, I might be able to cook up something like that. Any features or ideas people?

NT will spread the taskbar across both monitors.
It reports your screen size as 2048x768.

It just doesn't care and displays the entire
              screen.

Win9x is different - it uses all DX/DirectDraw
crap and does what you are seeing. I personally
doubt that we'll see this change. I wish
I could check out the latest alpha driver
for windows 2000 on mine to see what the
              story is there...
