Win98SE G400 don't shutdown after driver installation

I've an PIII 500 MHz Mobo MS-6163 VIA-chipset.
After i install the driver for G400, WIN98 will not sutdown or reboot. The screen becomes black and the Mousepointer is shown on the screen but did no response.
I try G400 BIOS Update as well as newest matrox driver .........

Does anybody knows about this problem?
