    Frame rates for Halflife TFC on Netplay in OpenGL ....

    Hello Peeps

    Can someone please post FPS for TFC (in 1260x1024)(Halflife) in Opengl on there G400 cards as i want to compare your specs with the Gefarce.
    A-Trend Mobo 6240 V2
    Custom Heatsink/Globalwinfan setup
    128MB/PC133/PC100 Combo
    I-Will Slocket2
    PIII Coppermine 500e@690 FSB 138
    Windows98SE
    Matrox G400 32 D/H (Latest drivers)
    Soundblaster 1024 Live @3.0 drivers
    8.4 West Dig (ATA 33)
    6.4 Fugitsu (ATA 66)
    MS Intell/Explorer USB
    Pioneer 6/32x DVD
    Memorex 48X CD
    Altec lansing Sub + 2 satelite speakers

    Golden Orb (www.plycon.com) being installed soon

    That may not work too well. I don't think the 'issues' with the G400 and Half Life have been resolved yet.

          Corrupt textures and bad frame rates. Supposedly has to do with the way the OpenGL code in HL is written. It may have been fixed in the newest release of the drivers, but I have not checked. I haven't played HL since I got my G400 (damn EverSmack).

            I never really had horrible frame rates, but I used to get severe corruptions, most of which have been fixed (yeah, I still see some, but I saw those even on other cards). Frame rates have steadily gone up and they continue to do so.

                I can't tell you what FPS I am getting, but I can tell you that the gameplay is easily as smooth (using TGL) as my V3 was.
