Aperture size?

    Aperture size?

    This may be a little off topic, but would someone tell me what is the aperture size? I know that I can change it in the BIOS but I don't what it does. Does it use up my RAM or something?

      It doesn't really use it up. It tells the video card how much it is allowed to use, if it needs it. Otherwise, the RAM belongs to programs.
      Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
