DVD module for G400?

I recently bought a Matrox Millenium G400 single display 16 MB. I have a 10x Pioneer DVD player (IDE ATAPI), 128 Mb of RAM and an AMD K6-2 450 but... the movies are not played smoothly at all, lots of frames are lost.
I use the Matrox DVD player software.
Does the G400 have hardware acceleration for DVD or it needs a module as the G200? Is there available a DVD accelerator module for the G400?

I don't think it's lack of speed in the DVD player as I have watched DVD movies in a 5x Creative DVD package and they played really smooth.

No, the G400s do not have hardware DVD acceleration. No module is yet available. What resolution and color depth do you watch movies at with the G400? I think you should be able to watch DVD smoothly at 1024x768 at 16 bbp.
