    TGL Question

Hey, maybe Kruzin can answer this one since he knows a bunch of cool info.
I am very excited about the release of the TGL for K6-III cpus, but since I have a VoodooII in my system, I can't use it.
Do you think a future release will bypass this problem and let the TGL work with the Voodoo I/II cards? Just thinking ahead, since Matrox seems to be able to find ways to get things to work

I doubt that this will be done... should not need to run a voodoo card anymore with the performance of the G400... so is it worth it to modify the drivers for this?

Just uncheck "Enable D3D Hardware Acceleration" on 3Dfx page in display properties. It works with Voodoo I

How bizarre. Could be a registry issue, because God knows what the Voodoo's hardware D3D acceleration has to do with TurboGL. I'm wondering if this fix works from system to system.

Well, I tried wit's suggestion to disable D3D support, so I checked that box in my VoodooII control panel page. Q3 actualyl loaded with the TGL, but I get the grey flickering screen, even though the program runs behind it, since I can hear selections get highlighted when I move my mouse. I also tried removing the VoodooII card and drivers to see if that was still causing the problem, but I still got the grey screen. Anyone know a fix for this, or is this one of the symptoms for a SS7 mobo problem with the current TGL?
