    G400 problems

I have a G400 16 meg with an Athlon 600, FIC Sd11 motherboard, 128 meg memory, SBLive, modem, and ethernet board. I previously had a V32000, which I dumped for poor performance. The system boots fine, and all is well. The problem is that sporratically, the screen corrupts, and I have to reboot. Any suggestions?

Yeah I got that as well m8.I usually got dumped back to desktop or just screen freeze. I thought for a while it was my 235 psu but I sorted that out.If you try running radical fish demo see if you get a complete reboot of yer machine like me. I think its probably the crap sd11.I have same mobo and intend to take it back after he new year ..will get asus or giga mobo i think.
Dump the fic and and get a good m/b.

There have been numerous reports of random reboots and stuff with your Athlon mobo, and there is even a fix where you have to solder a resistor to some part of the mobo to fix it. Definitely get a different mobo.

It looks as if forcing AGP1x did the trick, with no performance hit.
