Modifying VGA clocks on G400?

I currently own a G200 and an NCD 20" fixed frequency monitor. In order to get the monitor to work in VGA and text modes, I modified the PINS file entries #15 and #16 to a higher MHZ in order to get the monitor to sync.

My question is: If I upgrade to a Matrox G400 would the PINS file be similar and allow for such modification?

Probably, but nobody has published the PINs definitions for G400 yet, so we don't know what lines to modify
