Tech Supp game server open

the problem with keeping it open full time is that I would be stepping on PR's territory.

Zwisch - If someone can organize it, I can open it for the chosen day.

We'll be called MTS and there should be 5 of us.

Then let's make it so for tomorow at 9h30 eastern time. We should meet on the server first and them make out the teams. Murcers should use RED and Tech Support BLUE. I hope that we can get at least 5 murcers on to play again haig's 5 techs....

hehe if there are too many people, then yes the beta boys can take yellow but I have to admit that seeing to many yellow spots on the floor would not look that good... so maybe another color?

Man, I can't believe I forgot about this match! I had a little clan CTF practice, then I was free for the rest of the evening.

So what did I do?

I sat here searching Kali for decent DM/Team DM servers for some personal (read: non clan) fun. I played a total of maybe 3 games, then hit the sack.

I guess my memory's getting a little flakey, now. I might need replacement NIMMs (Neuronic Inline Memory Modules).

Oh well, maybe someone'll be there tonight.

Hi Maggi. I made sure to be there some last night. That's a real blast. The only problem I had (besides periodic ping spikes) was telling which team I should be on. On a few games, I thought red was Matrox guys, while Blue / Green was MURCers, or beta boyz. But in a few other matches, it looked like the players were mixed a little.

Not that that posed any problem. I like playing on any team. I just don't want to screw up and be on the wrong team myself, at least when you guys are trying to divide up in some specific way.

Is there anything specific to look for to tell beta boyz from MURCers (other than knowing who they are) and Matrox employees?

Awesome fun though. Said this in another post, but I can't say it enough- Matrox, you RULE!!

Well, we could adopt a standard - [BB] after the name if you're a BetaBoy, [MU] if you're just a regular MURCer (or mini MURCer) and [MM] if you're a Matrox employee? Just a thought....

the usual AltGr-8 doesn't work and even spaces are substitued by underscores ...

Anyway ... must I have the full retail versions of Q3 & UT to join the server ?
