    G-400 Max Macrovision

    Hi,
did anyone know how I can disable the Macrovision-Protection of the G400 MAX, with a driver trick?.

Yup, I agree that that sucks. There probably is some kind of patch out there to disable the macrovision. However, it is directly tied to the stock Matrox DVD player.

When I used the Zoran SoftDVD that came with my DVD drive, it does not have the Macrovision protection and it works with the DVDMax. I don't know the full list of other DVD players that do not incorporate the protection. The Zoran SoftDVD quality is definitely worse than the the Cinemaster engine that Matrox is using.
