    Assembled in Thailand

Anyone tested or know whether G400MAX cards assembled in Thailand are any worse in performance?

I heard cards assembled in China have a much higher defect rate. So.. wouldn't you expect them to be of lower quality and therefore worse performing?

My MAX was assembled in Ireland and my other G400, an OEM 32mb single-head was assembled somewhere in Asia.

        No problems with either one.

My MAX is from Ireland, and it had hella problems to begin with. But i kept with it and its now working like a champ! Last night i got like 2500 3dMarks in 3dMark2000 so im happy. Until then i was getting like 1900.

LOL, did i just use 'hella' in a sentence? Damn ive been watching to much south park! HEheheh

                Great! Thanks for the replies.
It's just that I'm not getting such good performance from my setup. This isn't the gaming forum :P but I get only 31fps in Q3A demo001 in 800x600, 16-bit color/texture, high details, trilinear, dynamic and marks off.

Maybe I should search for 3DMark2000 to compare.

How are you doing with the same settings and bilinear filtering?

You can find 3DMark 2000 here:
