HEY MATROX, please enable t and l in g400

how about we forget about the g450, and enable t and l in the g400.

put all your resources into the g800, and don't leave anything out.

thanks, think of the marketing and increased sales you could get from enabling t and l in the g400.

I would imagine, that IF the g400 is capable of t and l, then there is a reason for them not includeing it....

i read that matrox hardware has been capable of t and l since the g200.

could be a rumor, but it was from a reliable source.

          Oh brother.
Here we go again (why, why, why?).

Here is the one word you did not hear:
          THEORETICALLY

Theoretically the Gx00 cards could do a limited form of T&L, if part of it's warp engine was dedicated to it (which means taking warp away from other functions).

DO NOT expect this theoretical dream to become a reality in existing G-series cards. It's just not gonna happen.

If you want to read all the theories, wishes, and speculations, do a forums search. There are some threads from a couple weeks back that go into depth on this topic. And it really is a tired topic...

NOT AGAIN !...for 100000000 X ...no T&L with our G400 babe..OK ! how do you think to enable this feature , just with NEW driver or BIOS upgrade ?..no way ! & forget about WARP engine ..its for triangle setup , newer ment for T&L calculations..

we have to wait for a NEW MATROX chip G800 TL-800,X-1000 or something ...

Would you really like to see your G400 with hardware T&L performing slower than with current drivers? The decision to user WARPs for triangle setup only has its strong roots. Any other arrangemement would be worse.

Hardware T&L on the G-farce is poorly implemented. Take a look at Hard OCP. The new Nvidia cards are fast, but you'll have to wait for next-gen cards with more horsepower. The G400 with T&L would be slooooow.

                  Hello,
I suggest we named the T&L'ed G400 as Matrox Millennium G2000 or MGA2K..kind of cool name I think
I guess that a REAL T&L hardwared graphics card would have a Geometry Processor (like 3DLabs cards) on it.
So, how about we make a suggestion to Matrox to build an Add-On card that equipped with a Geometry Processor.
BTW, G400 really needs some extra speed to compete in gaming performance vs GeForce.
                  Cheers.

So does the TNT2, the board the G400 was designed to compete with.

                    Good heavens.
