Does anyone know how to change irq
I have the same irq#5
both to my soundcard and to my g400max
Win98 firstedition
P2 450

Go into your BIOS. Find the page that assigns IRQ's to various PCI slots. Assign a higher IRQ (10, for example) to Slot A, or Slot 1, or whatever the first slot is called.

Bingo!

But you must make sure the sound card isn't in the slot right next to the G400.
