It's a framerate converter for DVD movies.

I havn't tried it myself, since it's not a addon for a DVD player but rather a file used for "ripping" DVDs and converting them to VCD in the proper framerate.

But I think it shows that framerate conversion shouldn't be that hard to do. So maybe Matrox could do something about it as well - or at least add PAL60 as an output option.

(remote selector did framerate conversion for the DxR2 years ago - so this isn't really news....)
