mitsubishi diamond scan 17hx in 640x480 = screen jitters

i've used the 5.3 pd and now 5.52.... i also installed a recent mitsubishi .inf but i am still getting these annoying jitters. the best way to describe it would be someone jiggling a loose vga connector to the monitor, but it ONLY ever happens in 640x480.

any help or confirmation of similar experiences would be appreciated.

It could be interference from some other electric/electronic devices near your card. I once had this with a table-top fan standing right next to my computer. Unplugging it and removing away solved the problem.
Someday, we'll look back on this, laugh nervously and change the subject.

hm... poo. there isn't anything else close by the machine. just 'puter stuff, and most of that isn't usually plugged in (printer, other 'puter etc)

      but thanks anyway
