poor g400max rdmark2000 score : conclusions

my conclusion is that my score is cpu limited
because my score is equal in 16 & 32 bit color/texture
2045 in 16b 16t 16z
1990 in 32b 32t 32z

What is your cpu/mobo configuration - what operating system are you running - without more information, it will be difficult for others to comment on your results.

3Dmark uses a awfull lot of polygons (much more than the average game today) just to show off cards with hardware T&L. Because the G400max doesn´t have T&L, the cpu is doing all the work. So the G400 is just there, idle, waiting for cpu geometry data.

Just to compare I got around 2800 2dmarks with an Athlon 600 in the default benchmark.
