    Win2k Refresh settings?

    Is it possible to set the refresh rate for your monitor in win2k? Everytime i play unrealT it defaults to 60Hz, which kills my eyes. 98 allows me to change it for various resolutions but can't seem to do it in 2k. Any help would be appreciated.

    Go to "start"->"run"
    Type "dxdiag"
    Dxdiag should pop up, go to "more help" press "overide" and set "overide value" to 85Hz (or whatever your monitor suports at the res you play)

      Cool! Thanks for that info.

      Now I'll be able to play half life counter-strike for 6 hours at a time instead of 4!

        LrngToFly: That´s fine if you play HL in D3D. If you are using OpenGl, the above setting won´t work. I still couldn´t find a way do do more than 60Hz in openGl games (apart Quake3)
