    Win2k and Dualhead

    shame,
one more reason to keep the 98 dual boot...
The Welsh support two teams when it comes to rugby. Wales of course, and anyone else playing England

In what way is it 'broken'?

I'm using DualHead multi-display on my PC at work under Win2k Pro.

Dual head works fine for me in W2k. I have been using it for several months (since Win2k Beta3). There is a little problem adjusting the refresh rate of the second monitor, but other than that, it works fine!

Rogue: Do you mean Dual Head Multi Display like in win98 or do you mean the workaround that Matrox thought up? (e.g. the 2 monitors have to be at the same resolution and the taskbar is stretched across both screens)

          Greets,
          Jorg

Yes, and it's not on the list of Service Pack 1 fixes.

Looks like it works for some and not for others

                  Well,

DH does work as one big desktop streched over two monitors, but it doesnt work as two different screens with different resolutions and refresh rates.. So hope this will clear it up for you.. =)

Im one of those who are waiting for SP1, my 15" monitor is in my table to the LEFT of my 19" monitor.. And you cant change 2nd monitor to left at this time in DH with W2k.. so.. =) And yes, i dont want to move it to the center of the table.. just use one monitor at 1600x1200 now, and wait for the 200mb patch. =)
